At Josie, we believe ERGs are where real culture change starts. They’re not just a checkbox – they’re community, connection, and a place where employees feel seen. That’s why we show up with the energy, empathy, and yes, a little entertainment to make sure your ERG isn’t just another calendar invite…it’s a reason people say, “I love working here.”

Clear Minds, Full Hearts
Juggling career and caregiving is a lot – but what if it could also be a path to greater strength and perspective? These sessions help working parents shift internal narratives, manage stress, and see their evolving identity as a superpower.
Lead Out Loud
Boundaries, confidence, and bold communication for the win. These sessions help working parents navigate tough conversations, advocate for themselves, and lead at home and at work – with clarity, strength, and maybe even a little swagger.
Level Up: Manager Edition
People leaders are the make-or-break factor in a working caregiver’s experience. These sessions equip managers with the insight, language, and tools to support caregivers on their teams – turning “good intentions” into real impact.
Our Programming
Conversations that hit home (and work).
At the heart of every Josie session is one core belief:
That being both a driven professional and a devoted caregiver doesn’t divide you – it amplifies you.
Our events are built on the idea that working parents and caregivers are some of the strongest, most empathetic leaders out there. From setting boundaries to leading with vision, our programming helps ERGs host events that are engaging, energizing, and rooted in practicality.
how it works
Engaging Events Tailored to Your Organization
Our events are designed to meet your team where they are – whether that’s on Zoom, in person, or on the big stage. From keynotes to interactive workshops, we offer both one-time sessions and multi-session series.
We’ve celebrated everything from Bring Your Kid to Work Day and Mental Health Awareness Month to back-to-school chaos and holiday burnout. No matter the format or theme, every event is crafted to energize your ERG, spark real connection, and make working parents feel seen and supported.

Virtual Events
Zoom fatigue? Not on our watch. Our 60-minute virtual sessions (45 mins + Q&A) are dynamic and interactive – packed with polls, chat prompts, and customized content.
Onsite Events
Our in-person events (typically 60–90 minutes) can be tailored as fireside chats, presentation-style talks, or interactive workshops – whatever fits your vibe.
Keynote Speaker
When our founder Michelle Yu takes the mic, expect candor, mom jokes, and serious insight. Whatever the occasion, she’ll bring her TEDx-tested storytelling and lived experience to the stage.
sample topics
Our events don’t just resonate in the moment – they equip working parents with practical tools they’ll use long after the Zoom ends. Whether it’s navigating tough transitions or building stronger communication muscles, every session is designed to spark real growth and connection.
Dual identities as superpower.
This is our most popular session – and for good reason. In this high-energy, thought-provoking event, we reframe the challenges of working parenthood as accelerators of leadership growth. Through Josie’s proprietary P.A.R.E.N.T.™ framework, we guide participants in uncovering how the dual identities of parent and professional can actually enhance critical workplace skills…from empathy to efficiency. Attendees walk away with actionable tips they can use immediately, along with a renewed sense of confidence and connection. It’s equal parts empowering and practical, and a guaranteed hit with your ERG community.
Forget bubble baths – this session is about the real work of self-care.
At Josie, we ground our approach in science, not spa days. We unpack how self-care is actually a high-performance strategy, essential for resilience, emotional agility, and long-term well-being. This session helps working parents shift their mindset and equips them with simple, practical tools they can integrate into busy days—no extra hours required. Attendees will leave feeling empowered, not overwhelmed, and ready to invest in themselves in a way that truly pays off.
Saying no means saying yes to something that’s important to you.
Setting boundaries isn’t just a personal win. It’s a professional necessity. In this engaging session, Josie helps working parents tackle one of the hardest parts of the job: protecting their time without guilt. Using our G.E.T. C.A.L.M. framework, we teach actionable strategies to help employees confidently navigate competing demands at work and home. Expect laughter, real talk, and tools that turn boundary-setting into a leadership strength…not a stressor.
Upskilling managers through our “care studies”
Attention people leaders! In this session, we will explore common workplace scenarios that arise between working parents and their managers that can often result in friction, resentment and/or disengagement. Using a commonly occurring scenario (what we at Josie call a “care study”), we’ll share innovative strategies to transform potential conflicts into positive encounters that strengthen relationships, enhance your team’s culture, and drive performance.
We make sure your employees and their teams are prepared for the shifts that pararental leaves can cause.
- How do I tell my boss I’m pregnant?
- How do I tell my team and/or clients I’m going out on parental leave?
- What are the best ways to make sure my workload is covered while I’m out on leave?
We ensure your managers get the memo too:
- How do I manage tricky team dynamics when someone is going to be away for an extended period of time?
- How do I help my employees and teams prioritize and focus on what matters most?
- What communication should I have with my employee when their baby arrives and beyond (if at all)?
We make sure your employee has practical, relatable and hopeful support as they transition into parenthood.
I wasn’t expecting this to be THIS hard. Am I cut out for this?
Okay, I’m exhausted. How am I going to survive on 45-minute sleep cycles?
What is this going to look like when I’m back at work? Can someone help me get organized?
We make sure your employees are confident and ready to re-engage.
I want to start traveling again — how do I make sure my manager knows I’m ready?
How do I manage feelings of guilt about leaving my baby when I’m at work?
How do I reintegrate myself back into projects after parental leave?
We ensure your managers get the memo too:
How do I show up with empathy and also ensure we are driving towards outcomes?
What are common biases to watch for when it comes to new parents in the workforce?
How do I ensure my employee feels valued and can be authentic during this transition?
